PIRANHA FAMILIES ---

Thanks to all of our volunteers who helped us get through Time Trials this morning.  We made it through without rain, our new swimmers were able to see how a meet runs, and we were able to shake off the rust after 10 months of not running a meet!!  This week we have Time-Trial makeups on Tuesday, the Ice Cream Social on Friday, and our first A-meet on Saturday!  All of the details are below:

WEEKLY MEET SCHEDULE:

1. Time Trial Make-up:

WHEN: Tuesday, June 11th at 6:30pm; we will start promptly at the end of practice.

WHERE: Plantations II Pool

WHO: All swimmers who missed Time Trials and wish to receive a time in an attempt to make the first A-meet.  Please inform Mike or Rosie the events they will plan to swim.

VOLUNTEERS:  Parents of time trial make up swimmers plan to stay after practice and time your swimmers.  We will have stroke and turn to identify swimmers who are not legal in their strokes.

2. First A- Meet:

WHEN: Saturday, June 15th @ 9am; warm-ups at 8:00am.  Arrive by 7:50am and Check-in with Coach John.

WHERE: Plantations II Pool

WHO: Twin Farms

DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS:  Please go on-line and declare your swimmers either AVAILABLE or NOT AVAILABLE for the meet.  You must be declared by 6pm, Wednesday, June 12th, so that the coaches can prepare the meet line-up.

VOLUNTEER: While you are declaring your swimmer is AVAILABLE, SIGN-UP to volunteer for a position at this week's meet.

MEET LINE-UP:  The meet line-up will be posted Friday, June, 14th.

TEAM EVENTS THIS WEEK:

1. ICE CREAM SOCIAL:

WHEN: Friday, June 14th after each practice (if you practice at 4:30, ice cream will be at 5:30, if you practice at 6:30, ice cream will be at 7:30)

WHERE: Plantations II Pool

VOLUNTEERS:  We need parent volunteers to help serve up the ice cream on Friday.  Please go on-line a volunteer for a slot at either practice.

2. PRACTICE:

Practice continues after school this week:

a. No pre-team practice until June 17th.

b. 10 and under: 4:30-5:30pm

c. 11-18 years:  5:30-6:30pm
