Record All-Star Results for Plantations Swimmers!!!
HI Piranha Families —-
Just wanted to share the amazing results from our Plantations swimmers this weekend:
Individual All - Star Meet, Sunday July 28th:
AJ Navaleza won the MCSL 15-18 boys 100 meter Breaststroke title. While I do not have the time, I do know that it is a new Plantations team record. AJ was the top seeded 15-18 breaststroke swimmer all year and backed it up today by winning the All-Star Meet.
Andrew Klein placed 8th in the 12u boys 100m IM and 6th in the 11-12 boys 50 backstroke. His backstroke time of 33.56 was a new Plantations team record. In both races Andrew finished ahead of his seeded position.
Sean Douglas placed 6th in the 13-14 boys 50 fly in 28.54 which is also a new Plantations team record. Sean was seeded 11th, and I am told he wore a cap in his race today.
All-Star Relay Meet, Saturday, July 27th:
Nic Santorelli (back), AJ Navaleza (breast), Sean Douglas (Fly), And Lucas Farina (Free) finished second in the Boys Open Medley Relay in a time of 1:56.15 which is a new team record.
Nic Santorelli, AJ Navaleza, Sarah Kelly, and Julia Tomlinson finished 5th in the 15-18 mixed medley relay capping off Julia’s final year as a Plantations swimmer! Good luck on the hardwood at Catholic this fall Julia!!
Congratulations to our Plantations All-Star swimmers on their amazing performances this weekend and thanks for representing our little team so well!!!
Go Piranhas!!!
Mike
