Piranha Families ---

All, its going to be super hot tonight.  Everyone remember to stay hydrated.  Be ready to cheer and have some fun.  Parents are allowed inside the pool tonight and can be up by the edge cheering and filming.  Please make room for Nap Navaleza who will be taking photos of the participants.

Thanks to Dave Gonzalez for agreeing to act as Starter for tonight's Piranha Relays.  If you have agreed to time or are willing to time, see Cyndi and Shannon and they will get you set up.  Finally, wear your suit!  Parents relay is the LAST event of the night.

Some additional details for tonight and this weeks A-Meet!

1.  HATS:  We have a few (about 6) Piranha Trucker hats left @ $21 per hat.  See Cyndi for a hat while supplies last!!!

2. A-Meet:

WHEN: Saturday, July 10th, 9am.  Warm-ups at 8:05 and 8;25am.

WHERE: Hurley Park Pool. 20737 Highland Hall Dr, Montgomery Village, MD 20886 (Please Note:  If you have been to North Creek for a meet before, this is NOT their pool.  Their pool is being rebuilt.)

WHO: North Creek Neptunes

COVID Rules:  Please read the Information from North Creek below and see the attached file.  We will be splitting our swimmers up into two warm-ups.  Coach Julia will provide this direction on Friday.

TEAM AREAS:/ PARKING:  (See attached) The team area is outside the pool deck and there are no spectators on the pool deck. Note that our team area is well shaded, but we may bring tents to set up as well. The spectator area for our team also has several tables with umbrellas for shade.

MASKS:  Masks are encouraged for unvaccinated swimmers and officials, but not required.  Most of North Creek's swimmers have chosen NOT to wear masks to the lineups / clerk of course; however they will certainly have baskets available if your swimmers choose to use them.  Remember to bring a labeled zip lock bag for your mask.  I will make sure we transport your mask to the opposite end.
