Piranha Families —-

Information for tomorrow night’s parade!!!  Please wear your Piranha gear and join us!

Arrival time/location: Mr. Gonzalez will be arriving in his truck at 5:30pm to secure our spot in the parade.  Please plan to arrive at 5:45 PM at DHS and look for his  silver Ford pickup and fellow Piranhas.  The parade starts promptly at 7:00pm.  If dropping your athlete off please sign them in with one of the coaches / Team Reps before leaving.

PLEASE NOTE: Bethesda Church and that roads will be shut down between 6 and 6:30. You cannot park at the HS.

Note: We will be waiting for over an hour outside in the hot weather before we leave for the parade. The parade will walk the full distance from the High School to the American Legion building off of Lewis drive. It is approximately a 1 mile walk, and temperatures will be almost 90 degrees, so please make sure that your swimmer has been both properly hydrated, is in appropriate attire, and has used the facilities before dropping him/her/them off and is capable of walking the full length of the parade.  We will have extra water in the back of the truck and at the end of the parade.Have your swimmer bring a bucket or bag for candy (and feel free to contribute your own candy).  The swimmers can toss it out to kids along the parade route.

Pickup time/location: Promptly after the parade, we ask that parents meet us under the Piranhas tent in the unpaved parking lot across from the Damascus Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center located at 10211 Lewis Drive.  Feel free to stay for the fireworks.
