Important Info for Tonight and Tomorrow!!

    Piranha Parents —-

    1. Parade tonight.  It could start thundering as the parade winds down.  Please be ready to claim your children after the parade or walk with them in the parade.  Be prepared for a quick exit!!  Arrive at 5:45pm and look for other Piranhas in their green at DHS.  They may have Mr. Gonzalez park his truck away from the marchers until the parade starts so look for people and Coaches in Green!

    2. Tomorrow.  It is going to rain although the latest forecast looks a little less ominous.  There will be no chalk it up in the rain.  If you have an extra Pop Up Tent we could use for the meet, please bring it around 7:15am so we can set it up!  The more the merrier!  Also, dress appropriately.  Make sure your swimmers have things to keep them warm and have several towels.  There is a chance of a delay or postponement if it is raining too hard for Stroke and Turn to see to do their job.  Make up would be Sunday.

    3. Theme for tomorrow is tie-dye which we assume you will have on under your rain gear!!!

    4.  Thanks to Matt and Ashley Johnson and Katie and Eric Smith for the quick thinking this morning that allowed you to all enjoy warm pancakes at the pool.  The Johnson’s are awesome and do SOOOOO much for the team.  I am certainly glad they are on our team.  Katie let us destroy her kitchen and many other rooms of her house to make the pancakes.  We apologize for the mess.  Finally, Melissa Howell, Luanne Flynn and Susie Douglas for making extra eggs and bacon this morning.  It was definitely a “Frenzy” for the parents but I think it all came together.

    5. Quick shout to Korinne and Shannon who put together the ribbon box fun today.  I heard a lot of positive feedback on the boxes, even Coach AJ who had his signed by sooo many swimmers!!!

    6.  Finally, thanks to our partner on the swim board Cheryl Yost who managed to reset all of the breakers at the pool and get the outlets working again.  I appreciate her help in getting everything back up and running and apologize for hitting her with that as soon as she arrived at the pool.  Thanks Cheryl!!!

    See you tonight!!!

    Mike
