Piranha Families ---

We made it through the first half of this crazy week!  We had a great trip to Beaver Dam on Tuesday, held a successful B-Meet with Lake Marion on Wednesday, and completed the B-Relay Carnival at Quail Valley on Thursday.  A big shout out to our Concessions Team.  Allison Lynch's planning and the Shaddid family on the grill resulted in almost $900 in the cash box on Wednesday night.  This is a big deal for the team!!!

The next three days bring the Team Bowling outing on Friday, our final A-Meet of the season on Saturday, and the Piranha Relays on Sunday!!!  Sunday evening, Coach Julia and I will head to West Hillendale to set up the Divisional Meet with the other Division Reps and Coaches.  Busy, but fun times.  

Do not forget to order your Divisional T-shirts.  About 40% of shirts have been accounted for, so don't delay.  See my e-mail from earlier this week, or the link on the website, to order your shirt.

Remaining Meets This Week:

1. Final A-Meet (AWAY @ Upper County)

WHEN: SATURDAY, July 16th @ 9am. Arrive at 8:10am, Warm-ups at 8:20am.

WHERE: Upper County Dolphins, 8211 Emory Grove Rd., Gaithersburg, MD 20878

VOLUNTEER: As usual our parents have the process all figured out.  Aside from ribbon writers and tent transport volunteers we have all of the positions covered.  If you can help us out in either of those areas, that would be great!!!

2. PIRANHA RELAYS:

WHEN: SUNDAY, July 17th @ 9am. Warm-ups at 8:30am.

WHERE: Plantations II Pool

WHO: All Piranhas including the Pre-teamers for a fun Intersquad Relay Meet.

CALLING ALL PARENTS: I need every parent who can participate in some fun relays to arrive prepared to participate. This is a FUN Piranha Family event.  We will have a parents against coaches relay and then maybe some float relays, so please wear your suit and be ready to have some fun!!!

EVENTS:  Zoie and I have already made the Line-up.  We have two latecomers that we are going to work to squeeze in, but it is difficult to add swimmers at this point.  Let us know if you would like to participate and we will attempt to add you as best as we can.  Line-up will come out tomorrow evening.

REMAINING TEAM ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK:

1. PIRANHA BOWLING

WHEN: Friday, July 15th 3:30pm-5:30pm

WHERE: MT. AIRY Bowling Lanes; 304 Center St.; Mt. Airy, MD 21771

COST: $16/swimmer - and there is a 72 swimmer limit for this activity. 10u must be supervised by an adult. Please see the team calendar for more details.
