Piranha Families —-

Good evening!  If you are receiving this email you have either successfully signed up for this years team, or were a team member last season and have not signed up yet.  Some of you may receive this twice since you may be on both lists!  In any event, registration is underway and we currently have 52 swimmers registered for the upcoming season.  Please register as soon as you can as we need to divide the team up for early season practices.

If you are a new family we will be providing directions on what to do the first day of practice. We will want the coaches to evaluate your swimmers to see if they are pre-team swimmers or are ready for swim team.  The coaches perform this assessment and will let you know.  If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected].  Katie and I will also perform new parent orientation that evening while your athletes practice.  This covers how the team operates and what you can expect.  We are a low key and fun bunch.  We enjoy seeing our swimmers learn, improve and compete, but most importantly we want them all to have fun and share a sense of community over the summer.

Volunteers!!!  I still need a lot of volunteers for key positions.  Contact any of the reps to discuss opportunities.  Most importantly…officials make sure you sign up for training so we have enough qualified officials to run the meets this summer.  We are a small team and need everyone to volunteer.  Trust me when I tell you it makes the meets go much quicker when you volunteer.

Finally, the team store is open on the web site.  Please stop by and pick out your Piranha swag for the season.  A portion of all sales comes back to the team!
