NOTE: If you swam for the Piranhas last season and have not registered yet for this season, this will be the last email reminder you receive.  After today, we will start using the new Parents email list exclusively.

Piranha Families —-

Hi all!  Well, we are 1-week away from the start of the 2023 MCSL season.  The following  are a few reminders:

1 REGISTRATION: If you have not registered please do so as soon as possible.  Katie and I will be developing the practice schedule with the coaches this week and it would be best not to have to change it.  We currently have 94 swimmers registered for this summer and that is great!!!

2. VOLUNTEER: We need parents to sign up to be trained as officials.  All training is virtual.  Please notify me if you do so (I am taking class Tuesday PM).  The following is the schedule:

A. New Stroke and Turn (June 1st (7pm); June 4th (8pm) and June 11th (7pm))

B Recertification Stroke and Turn:  (May 23rd, June 4th, and June 12th all at 7pm)

C. Last chance Stroke and Turn: June 13th at 7pm

D. Starter: (May 24th, May 30th, June 7th at 7pm)

E. Referee: (May 25th (7pm); June 6th (7pm); June 11th (8pm))

F. Advanced Referee: May 31st at 7pm

3. New Parents and Swimmers:  I will ask for you to attend practice at a specific time on Tuesday, May 30th to have the swimmer evaluated by the coaching staff.  This will determine if they are ready for swim team or pre-team.  At the same time, we will be conducting Parents meetings at the pool.  This will cover all you need to know about the upcoming swim season.  Recommend all parents attend, or at least one parent from each family.

4. Practice Schedule:  We will relay the schedule later this week after we meet with the coaches and have final registration numbers.
