I wanted apologize for some of the issues that occurred at practice today.  There were two admittance issues:  1) people were not allowed admittance if the pool board did not have record of your family information form; 2) swimmers under 13 were not admitted to the pool without an adult.  I understand that some of you sent in your form and it was either lost or misplaced.  I think we have solved all of those issues this evening as I have provided the forms directly to the board.  Thank you for the quick action on those forms.  As for underage swimmers coming in without a parent, I believe we have solved that problem as well.  I am providing the Pool Staff with our roster in alphabetical order.  Your swimmer if coming alone should indicate they are on swim team and give them their name.  They will be allowed access.  Katie and I will be there tomorrow.  If anyone has issues with access to the pool we will bring them in as our guest.  I truly do not anticipate any issues tomorrow, at least not on these two items.

Also, I know we are all really comfortable with using the gate to enter and exit the pool, but while we are practicing after school we need to enter and exit through the building and the gate will likely be locked.  I know it is like second nature to use the gate, but let’s try and remember to use the correct entry and exit procedures.  It’s a safety and liability issue for the pool.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience that was caused today.  Hopefully, we have resolved this going forward.
