Practice Week #2: PLEASE READ

Welcome to Week #2. Coach Nic asked that I relay some important information for the swimmers:
1. WATER BOTTLES: Every swimmer should bring a personal water bottle that they should keep at the end of their practice lane to drink from during practice. The bottle should be filled with either water, or a sports drink. DO NOT bring energy drinks! Using energy drinks can lead to medical issues during practice related to caffeine side effects. Please label your bottle. Inevitably people have the same bottle, or leave their bottle after practice, so it’s best to be able to identify your bottle.
2. PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Practice this week (M-F) will follow the same schedule as last week:
13-18 year olds: 4pm-5pm
8u and 9-10 girls: 5pm-6pm
9-10 boys and 11-12: 6pm-7pm
3 TEAM CHEERS: Coach Nic has attached the cheers that the team performs at meets. The team will be practicing them at Time Trials this Saturday. New and younger swimmers can review them with their parents ahead of time if they want.
4. We will send two additional emails this week. One related to volunteering and donations, and one related to Time Trials. Please read those emails and take appropriate action. See Katie or myself with any questions.
