Frenzy #2, Parade, A meet, A-Relay Carnival

All of the details are below for Friday Frenzy#2 (team picture), Damascus Parade, A Meet (HOME) vs. Twin Farms, and A-relay Carnival.
Please go on-line Here to sign-up for food, RSVP for the parade, and meet volunteers. While you are there, declare your swimmers either AVAILABLE or NOT AVAILABLE for the B-relay carnival.
MEET THEMES: This week's theme for both the A and B meets is Hawaiian, and the A-Realy and B-relay is Country Western!
WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
1. Frenzy #2: July 7th, Friday Practice PLEASE sign up for food and drinks!!!!
Schedule:
Team Picture @ 8:15am (includes all pre-teamers, wear your team suit, or favorite suit, for the picture)
All age (except pre-team) practice: 8:30-9:30am
Games: 9:30-10:30am
Breakfast: 10:30am
VOLUNTEER: We need parents to Volunteer (click Here) to bring food (pancakes, eggs, bacon, syrup, orange juice, etc.) or Supplies (plates, forks, etc.) and then serve the food to the kids after practice.
- Parents who volunteer to bring food for the breakfast should plan to bring the food to the pool at 10am.
2. Damascus Parade
WHEN: Friday, July 7th. Arrive at the Weis Parking lot @ 5:45pm and walk over to Damascus High School together at 6 pm. The parade starts at 7pm (Only vehicles going through the parade will be permitted into the high school parking lot. Please enter from the GYM entrance.)
WHAT TO WEAR: Your newly tie-dyed shirts or Piranha gear and comfortable shoes for walking. Bring water, sunscreen, bucket for tossing candy, and extra candy (although we will provide some for the team).
DETAILS: The parade runs from Damascus High School to the VFW on Lewis Dr. After the parade, meet at the Piranhas tent (at parade end on Lewis Drive across from the American Legion) for firework viewing with the team! If you will be joining us for firework viewing, please RSVP on the calendar page on the website so we can plan for drinks and snacks. If you would like to donate drinks and snacks, please sign up and drop them by the Friday Frenzy so we can be sure they are at the tent ready for our parade walkers.
3. A- Meet:
WHEN: Saturday, July 8 @ 9 am Home; warm-ups at 8:00 am. Arrive by 7:50 am and Check-in with the Coaches.
CHALK IT UP: Arrive at 7:30 am if you would like to decorate the walkway outside the gate with some artwork welcoming Twin Farms to our pool. Chalk is provided, but feel free to donate.

WHERE: Plantations II Pool
WHO: Twin Farms
WHAT: Senior Day
VOLUNTEER: SIGN-UP to volunteer for a position at this week's meet. It’s already looking pretty good, so thanks for making the volunteer coordinators happy!
MEET LINE-UP: The meet line-up will be posted by the coach no later than Friday, July 7th. This is when you will know if your swimmer is in the A meet.
3. A-relay Carnival:
WHEN: Sunday, July 9th @ 9am; Warm-ups @ 8:15am, Arrive at 7:50am
THEME: Country Western
WHERE: Whetstone Community Pool, 19140 Brooke Grove Ct., Gaithersburg
WHO: All of Division L
PARKING: There are 3 different parking lots to park in. Arrive early if you want a close spot. You are ALLOWED to drop off passages in the circle at the pool.
***Parking is limited – no pool parking in adjacent residential areas.***
Parking (see separate attachment for a map of the lots)
1. Whetstone Community Center has 45 spaces - these will be limited
to parking passes
2. Centerway Park – entrance is about 100 yards southeast of the pool
on Centerway Road - 60 spots
3. Whetstone Elementary – 95 spots but fills up from adjoining
Neighborhood
4. Lidl Grocery - walking path 5–10-minute walk – 60 spots
5. Please don’t leave anything valuable in your cars.
TEAM AREA: will be located at the end of the pool behind the starting end (driving board). See the attachment pool map, we are in area #2.
