Piranha Relays - Tomorrow (Warm-up 8:30; Relays at 9am)
Piranha Families ---
Ok! We completed our 5th and final A meet this morning falling short at Long Branch, but we has some great performances including the open women' s medley relay of Zoie Gregory, Rachel Howell, Abi Ajamian, and Hannah Douglas breaking the team record that had stood for 27 years. I imagine this will be the first of several times this record will be broken over the next few years. Congratulations ladies!!!
We wrap up the last 2 weeks of insanity with the Piranha Relays tomorrow AM. Arrive 8:30am for some light warm-ups and the events will start at 9am. If all goes well, we will be out of there by 11am or so.
If you are a parent I recommend that you wear your suit and be ready to participate. We have coaches vs. parents and then some fun family float relays. If you have not signed up for a family float relay but want to participate, see us in the AM and we will work it into the program. If you forgot to say you would attend Piranha Relays but want to participate, feel free to join us and we will attempt to get you in as many fun relays as we can.
Ms. Allison will have light refreshments and snacks available poolside during the even tomorrow AM, and I am looking for an announcer to narrate the festivities.
You will find the link for the meet program below. Feel free to print out and share with your swimmers. This lineup is very difficult to complete as there is no automated template and it is therefore created entirely by hand. We look forward to seeing you in the AM to start and wrap up the 2023 summer swim season.
