Hello Piranhas,

We pulled off a great win yesterday! Way to go, Swimmers! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped out at the meet.

Here is what you need to know for this week:

1. Pre-team- Tomorrow, we are welcoming our pre-team to the pool! As a reminder, pre-team practice is only Mondays through Thursdays from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. Pre-team is not eligible to attend afternoon practices.
2. Jimmie Cone Fundraiser Monday—What better way to spend your first Monday of the summer than at Jimmie Cone? Come out between 5:00 and 10:30 p.m. to support the team. No flier is needed to get donations.
3. B-Meet Wednesday Night- Please declare your swimmers by Monday night. If your swimmer swam in the A-meet, they are only eligible to swim in any events that they did not swim. They may only swim Freestyle if they did not place 1st- 6th. While you are declaring your swimmer, please sign up to volunteer!
4. Tie-Dye Friday- Please bring a plain white cotton t-shirt in your size placed in a gallon-sized Ziplock bag (label the bag with your name) to practice. We'll iron on a Piranhas Logo while you are swimming. After practice, you can tie-dye your shirt however you want! These will be perfect to wear to future swim meets and the Celebrate Damascus Parade! Tie-dying is open to all swimmers, including pre-team. Please volunteer to help!
5. A-meet at Lake Marion Saturday- Please declare your swimmers for the A-meet and sign up to volunteer.
6. Parent Night Out at Stone Silo Brewery Saturday night- come out to meet and socialize with the parents! Please leave the kids at home :) Feel free to bring snacks, appetizers, or desserts to share. We'll be setting up a table to put food on. Feel free to bring camping chairs. There will be live music by Andy Carignan. There will also be Vittles in the Pines/Tony's BBQ food truck until 7:30 pm. We hope you can come out and socialize. Lastly, we are looking for some help with our bigger volunteer jobs. I am looking for a B-team representative and a team treasurer. If you are interested, please contact me.
