Hey Piranhas!

We are officially one week away from our first practice! I’ve met with the coaches, and they are incredibly excited to get this season started.

Here is everything you need to know as we dive in:

After-School Practice Schedule

Please note the specific times for each age group below.

• 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: 13-14 and 15-18
• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: 8 & Under and Girls 9-10
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Boys 9-10 and 11-12

Important Note for the 5:00 PM Practice: The water will be chilly! To keep the kids warm, the 5:00–6:00 PM 8 & under group will do 15-20 minutes of dryland exercises and 30 minutes in the water.

New Parent Meetings

I will be holding a short New Parent Meeting during each practice slot. If you are new to the team or just have questions, please come by and chat with me!

Team Swimsuits

Our official team suits are plain black. You have a few options to get sorted:

• In-Person Fitting (Recommended): Visit Capital Sports and Swim in Kensington. They are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. There is also Pools Patios & Porches in Frederick as another option, though I haven't personally been to this store.
• Online: You can easily order plain black suits via Swim Outlet or Amazon.
• Questions? Come see me at the pool on Tuesday!

We Need Volunteers!

If you want to get more involved with our awesome swim community, I would love your help. We are currently looking to fill a few key volunteer positions, including Automation and a Co-Team Rep. Come see me if you're interested!
