Hello Parents!

We made it through a long, very wet, and slightly crazy weekend of swim meets! Each swimmer gave it their all, and we are so proud of them.

A HUGE shout-out to our amazing coaches for always smiling and keeping a positive attitude. A massive thank you to Rob Klein and David Gonzalez for serving as our meet referees, and to our amazing volunteers: Woody, Tom, Trevor, Kurt, Jeff, Matt, Ashley, Shannon, Lora, and Mary at the A-relays! We couldn't do it without you.

Please join me in welcoming our two wonderful new B Reps, Katie Donovan and Kirsten Pasquale! Thank you both so much for stepping up and taking on this role.

📅 This Week’s Schedule

• Monday:
  • NO PRACTICES (morning or afternoon) for swim team and pre-team.
  • Beaver Dam: See the bottom of this email for full details.
• Wednesday Night:B-Meet @ Flower Hill
  • Theme: Red, White, and Blue! (More details to come).
  • Action Required: Please declare your swimmers. If you swimmer swam in an event at the A-meet, they can NOT swim that event in the B-meet. Unless you place 7th-12th place in Freestyle.
• Friday: 🍩 Donut Day! Enjoy donuts after morning practices.
• Saturday:A-Meet @ Clopper Mill Kingsview (More details to come).

🚨 Urgent Volunteer Call-Out (Wednesday B-Meet)

We need your help. While you are declaring your swimmers for Wednesday's meet, please sign up to volunteer.

It takes a village to run a swim meet. If you have not volunteered yet this season, we need you to step up. If we do not have enough volunteers to cover the necessary roles, we will be forced to cancel the meet. Please help us make sure the kids get to swim!

Please read the information below carefully, as some of their rules and procedures have changed this year.

Admission & Waiver

• Group Rate: Tell the front gate you are with the Piranhas Swim Team to get our special pricing:
  • Ages 2–11: $14.00
  • Ages 12 & up: $18.00
• Waiver Required: Everyone must fill out the waiver online prior to entering the quarry. You can complete yours ahead of time here:Beaver Dam Swimming Club Waiver.

Key Quarry Rules & Policies

• Quarry Age Restrictions: Must be 4 years or older to enter the swimming quarry.
• Life Jackets & Swim Tests:
  • Ages 4+ are required to wear life jackets in the quarry.
  • Ages 13+ must pass a swim test at the facility in order to swim without a life jacket.
• Prohibited Items: No glass containers, alcohol, drugs, weapons, personal checks, drones, or unlicensed vehicles (scooters, kids' motorized vehicles, etc.). No smoking, vaping, or hookahs.
• Pets: No pets allowed (service animals only).
• Music: No loudspeakers or use of vehicle sound systems.
• Re-entry: No exit and re-entry without paying again.
