Hello Swim Team Families,

We have officially reached the final week of our swim season! Time flies when you are having fun. We have an incredibly busy week ahead to wrap up a great season, so please read through this schedule carefully. Attached is the line-up and meet program for divisionals.

CRITICAL DEADLINES THIS WEEK:

• TONIGHT (Sunday): Last day to order Divisional shirts.
• Monday: Deadline to declare your swimmer for Wednesday's B-Meet.
• Thursday, July 16th: RSVP and payment deadline for the End-of-Season Banquet.

Monday, July 13th – Hornets Nest Fundraiser

• Where: 9876 Main St, Damascus, MD 20872
• Time: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Note: For dine-in and pickup, you must show the flier. For online orders, use promo code "fundraiser".

Wednesday, July 15th – Last Regular Practice & Final B-Meet

• Morning Practice & Ice Cream Social: This is the last practice for all pre-team and regular swim team members. We will hold an Ice Cream Social after each practice session!
  • Donations: Please drop off ice cream social donations by 9:00 AM.
• Evening B-Meet (Home vs. North Creek, Whetstone, & Upper County):
  • Theme: Fancy/Formal
  • Arrival: 4:45 PM | Warm-ups: 5:00 PM
  • Reminder: Declare your swimmer by Monday! More details to come.

Thursday, July 16th & Friday, July 17th

• Practice: 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM (Divisional Swimmers ONLY).
• Note: There are no afternoon practices on these days.

Saturday, July 18th – Divisionals & End-of-Year Banquet

• Morning – Divisionals @ Waters Landing: More details to come, but we expect to have the second warm-up slot. Anticipate a 6:45 AM / 7:00 AM arrival time.
• Evening – End-of-Year Banquet & Pool Party: See full details below!

End-of-Year Banquet & Pool Party Details

• When: Saturday, July 18th from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Rain date: Sunday, July 19th)
• Where: Plantations Pool (Dinner/Awards on the grass between the pool and playground; Party inside the pool).
• Who: All pre-team swimmers, swim team members, and their families!

Timeline of Events

• 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner, Awards, and Team Recognition (Dinner line opens at 5:15 PM)
• 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Pool Party!

RSVP & Payment (Due by Thursday, July 16th)

• Cost: $50 per family.
• The Menu: A fantastic taco bar featuring a variety of proteins, toppings, and chips, along with delicious desserts, soda, and water.
• How to RSVP: Sign up on the team website. Please indicate the total number of family members and any additional guests attending.
• How to Pay:
  • Venmo: Send to @PLTSwim (please include a note stating it is for the banquet).
  • Cash: Drop off cash in an envelope clearly marked with your family name directly to Katie.

What to Bring

• Lawn Chairs & Pop-Up Tents: We will be sitting in the grassy area, and it will be hot! We will set up team tents, but space is limited. Bring your own pop-up tent if you want guaranteed shade.
• Bug Spray: Highly recommended for the grassy area during dinner.
• Water Bottles: We will provide leftover team water, soda, and Gatorade free of charge, but please bring refillable water bottles just in case.
• BYOB (Adults): Adults may bring their own beverages, but no adult beverages are allowed inside the pool area during the pool party.
• Swim Gear: Don't forget swimsuits and towels for the 7:00 PM pool party!
