WHEN: Sunday, July 1st at 9 am. Warm-ups are at 8:15 am. Arrive at 8:00 am and check-in with Coach Matt. WHERE: Quail Valley Swim Club 18701 Quail Valley Blvd. Gaithersburg, MD 20879 WHO: All Division L Teams MEET LINE-UP: Coach Matt will have the line-up out Thursday, June 28th. PARKING: We will receive a limited number of parking passes for the Relays, so we encourage car-pooling. If you do not get a pass to park in the lot, you may park along Quail Valley Blvd and walk to the pool (it’s not far). Please do not park in any of the surrounding town home communities. |

If you wish to make changes after the deadline please email coach Matt at [email protected] Swimmers can enter as many events as they like, so long as: 1.They did not place in the top six in freestyle in today's A Meet 2. They did not place in the top three in back/breast/fly in today's A meet A swimmer may not swim if: 1. They are not legal in a stroke 2. They are a usual A swimmer but missed today's A meet (unless it's their off stroke)

Olney, MD 20832) WHO: Norbeck Grove Swim Team THEME: Crazy Hat Day - Piranhas are Fierce, Fast, Friendly and Hat Crazy!!! Wear your brightest, oddest and zaniest hat to the meet this week!!! DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS AVAILABILITY: Parents go on-line if you haven’t already and declare your swimmers either AVAILABLE or NOT-AVAILABLE for the meet. You must declared by the end of the day today, Wednesday, June 20th, so that the coaches can prepare the line-up. VOLUNTEER: While you are declaring your swimmer is AVAILABLE, SIGN-UP for a volunteer position for this week’s meet. We appreciate it if you sign up early so we do not need to track you down. Pasta Pig Out - 6:30 PM

Please join us for our annual “Pasta Pig Out” pool picnic this Friday! It’s a great excuse for some fun summertime socializing with swimmers, parents, siblings, and coaches. (And you can justify it as "carb loading" because it's on the eve of an A Meet.) Don’t forget to sign up on Swimtopia (our team's website) to bring your favorite pasta dish, side, or dessert. Or, you can sign up to bring the needed paper products or to help serve at the picnic. We want to make sure we have plenty of food and supplies for all to share. |

This week is our first B meet: WHEN: Wednesday, June 20th at 6pm. Please arrive at 5:00pm and check in with Coach Matt, warm ups are at 5:10pm. Volunteers, please check in with Nikki by 5:15pm. WHERE: HOME- Plantations pool WHO: Quail Valley THEME: Team Shows Maryland Pride Don’t forget to sport your favorite Maryland Terrapin attire at this week’s B team meet on Wednesday. Piranhas are Maryland Proud! SIGN UP: Please make sure you sign your swimmer up for Wednesdays B meet. Deadline for sign up is 6PM Monday evening. If you wish to make any changes after the deadline, please email coach Matt.

DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS AVAILABILTY: Parents go on-line if you haven’t already and declare your swimmers either AVAILABLE or NOT-AVAILABLE for the meet. You must be declared by the end of the day on Tuesday so that the coaches can prepare the line-up. VOLUNTEER: While you are declaring your child is AVAILABLE, SIGN-UP for a volunteer position for this week’s meet. We appreciate if you sign-up early so that we do not need to track you down. DONATIONS: The concessions team still needs soda (Coke or Diet Coke) and Gatorade donations! You can drop them off with a Team Rep or Coach at any practice. Ice Cream Social
Plantations Pool (after each practice)
The annual ice cream social occurs directly after each practice on Friday, June 15th (5:45pm for the 10u crowd, 6:45pm for the 11 and up). Parents we need your help with this event. Volunteer opportunities for set up, servers, and clean-up are posted on the team site. It’s a fun and easy way (you’ll likely be there anyway) to keep the kids smiling. **We want to make sure all of our swimmers can participate in this great team building event, so please contact Cyndi Gregory ([email protected]) if your child has any food allergies.She will be happy to work with you to be sure there is a safe option available for all. |
