    Celebrate Damascus Parade/Fireworks (Marching With the Team)

    • WHEN: Friday, July 11th. Arrive at the Damascus High School parking lot before 6pm to line up, The Parade starts at 7pm.
    • WHAT TO WEAR: Piranha gear or team colors (and SNEAKERS!) Feel free to bring candy to toss along the way, although we will provide some for the team.
    • DETAILS: The parade runs from Damascus High School to the VFW on Lewis Dr.
    • AFTER-PARTY: After the parade, meet at the Piranhas tent (at parade end on Lewis Drive across from the American Legion) for firework viewing with the team! If you plan to join us for fireworks viewing, please RSVP on the calendar page on our website so we can plan for drinks and snacks. If you would like to donate drinks and snacks, please sign up and drop them at that morning's Friday Frenzy so we can be sure they are at the tent ready for our parade walkers! PS - it's easiest to drop off parade walkers and then park at the end of the parade since that is where we'll stay to watch fireworks, and then your car will be nearby.

    Practice from 8:30-9:30 for all swimmers (excluding Pre-team), followed by water polo from 9:30-10:30. This will be followed by breakfast for all swimmers (including the pre-team). Please sign up to bring a dish and bring a serving spoon with it. These kids are hungry!

    We'll have a table out for Piranhas pass downs. Feel free to donate or take any Piranhas merchandise.

    • Team Area: We will be in the paved picnic area to the right as you enter the pool deck. While some of the picnic area tables have umbrellas, and we will bring the Piranha tents for shade, you are also welcome to bring your own. Please bring chairs.
    • Parking: Quail Valley has a large parking lot, but if full you can park along the street. Please remember to abide by all posted road signs.
    • Concessions: Concessions will be available for sale during the meet, featuring the Famous QV Marlins Grill, which includes burgers and fries. They accept cash, Venmo, and credit card payments (please note that credit card transactions have a minimum purchase requirement of $5.)

    We'll have both a parents relay and a coaches relay. Email me asap if you are interested in participating on our relay team!

    • Team Area: We are in Team Area 3 next to the baby pool (see attached map). We will bring the Piranha tents for shade, but if you would like to bring your own, you can (not sure how much room we will have). Please bring chairs.
    • Parking: The Pool parking lot has reserved spaces for those with a parking pass, and some additional spaces that are first come, first serve (see attached map). Overflow parking is on the street along the edge of the pool parking lot. Please remember to abide by all posted road signs.
    • Concessions: Please not that concessions are CASH ONLY with a full set-up

    • Team Area: I got the last pick so we are in team area 4- Grassy Flat Area next to the baby pool. We will bring our tent Piranha tents for shade, if you would like to bring your own, you can (not sure how much room we will have) Please bring chairs.
    • Parking: the Pool parking lot is for those who have parking passes. Overflow parking is available on the street in front of the pool (please obey all No Parking signs!), as well as at the Francis Scott Key Middle School, which is right across the street, or Cresthaven Elementary School, which is right behind the pool.

    • Team area: The team area is left of the lanes by the back fence, after you walk past the computer/automation tables (from the baby pool to half of the large red umbrella).
    • Parking: The lower parking lot will be reserved for your team until 8:30 AM, at which time we will open it up on a "first come, first served" basis. The lower lot is smaller than our upper lot, so those spots tend to fill up fast.
    • Concessions: They accept cash, Venmo, or CashApp payment

Sign-ups close Monday at 5 PM. The theme is red, white, and blue.

    Come out to meet and socialize with the parents!  Please leave the kids at home :)  Feel free to bring snacks, appetizers, or desserts to share.  Square Taco Food Truck will be there until 8pm and Tony's BBQ will be there until 7:30pm. There will be live music by Matt Hamner until 8pm.
