PARKING: There are 3 different parking lots to park in. Arrive early if you want a close spot. You are ALLOWED to drop off passengers in the circle at the pool.

***Parking is limited – no pool parking in adjacent residential areas.***

1. Whetstone Community Center has 45 spaces - these will be limited

to parking passes

2. Centerway Park – entrance is about 100 yards southeast of the pool

on Centerway Road - 60 spots

3. Whetstone Elementary – 95 spots but fills up from adjoining

Neighborhood

4. Lidl Grocery - walking path 5–10-minute walk – 60 spots

5. Please don’t leave anything valuable in your cars.

TEAM AREA: will be located at the end of the pool behind the starting end (driving board). See the attachment pool map, we are in area #2.

WHO: Flower Hill Dolphins

WHEN: Wednesday, July 5th, @ 6pm. Arrive at 5pm and check in with your coaches. Warm-ups are at 5:20pm.

WHERE: Flower Hill (8100 Mountain Laurel Lane, Gaithersburg 20879). Please enter through the bathrooms. Your team area will be to the left past the pavilion and along the fence near the baby pool. We have a small parking lot, but plenty of street parking. There is not a lot of shade, you will want to bring canopies if you have them.

THEME: Continues to be RED, WHITE, and BLUE.

SIGN-UP: Please make sure to sign your swimmers up on-line by Monday evening (7/3) at 6pm. You can select the events they swim.

Eligibility Guidelines:

Swimmers may sign up for as many events as they want as long as they DID NOT swim that event in the A meet, with the exception of freestyle. Swimmers can swim freestyle at the B meet as long as they placed outside the top 6 in freestyle if they swam it in the A meet.

You cannot swim any event you have an ALL-STAR time in.

A swimmer should not sign up for a stroke they are not legal in unless requested by Coach Nic (this usually means they are close to being legal). See the coach if you have a question.

A swimmer cannot swim the B meet in any stroke for which they are usually an A meet swimmer, but missed this past weekends A meet. I do not believe this applies to anyone this week.

VOLUNTEER: When you sign up your swimmer, please sign up to volunteer at the meet. We should have a large B-team this season, so all parents sign up to volunteer to support your swimmers!

a. SWIMMERS: Swimmers arrive by 5pm and check in with Coach Nic and Coach Linx. Warm-ups will start around 5:20 pm and last only 15 minutes.

b. VOLUNTEERS:

ARRIVAL: Please show up with your swimmers and check in with the volunteer coordinator.

OFFICIALS: Need to be on-site by 5:30 for the officials briefing. Timers briefing is at 5:45pm.

WHO:  Norbeck Grove Barracudas

WHERE: Plantations II Pool

WHEN: Saturday, July 1 at 9 am Home; warm-ups at 8:00 am. Arrive by 7:50 am and Check-in with the coaches.

CHALK IT UP:   Arrive at 7:30 am if you would like to decorate the walkway outside the gate with some artwork welcoming Norbeck Grove to our pool. Chalk is provided, but feel free to donate.

THEME: Red, White, and Blue!

DECLARE YOUR SWIMMERS: Please go online and declare your swimmers either AVAILABLE or NOT AVAILABLE for the meet. You must be declared by 8am, Thursday Morning, June 29th, so that the coaches can prepare the meet line-up. Note: Only the top 3 swimmers in each age group swim in each event except freestyle, where the top 6 swimmers participate. See the Reps if you have any questions.

VOLUNTEER: While you are declaring your swimmer is AVAILABLE, SIGN-UP to volunteer for a position at this week's meet. It’s already looking pretty good, so thanks for making the volunteer coordinators happy!

MEET LINE-UP: The meet line-up will be posted by the coach no later than Friday, June 30th. This is when you will know if your swimmer is in the A meet.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 28th @ 6pm.

WHERE: Home Meet! PLT Pool

THEME: Continues to be Maryland Pride! Please wear your best Maryland gear or yellow, red, and black!!!

SIGN-UP: Please make sure to sign your swimmers up on-line Here by Monday evening (6/26) at 6pm. You can select the events they swim.
